Not many players are privileged to be listed in same ranks as winners of the last 10 Balon D'ors, Ronaldo and Messi. To be mentioned above them is as good as naming goat, king of the jungle - an impossible situation One footballer reveling this impossibility is Tottenham's Harry Kane. 

A stunning 12 months for the 24-year-old was capped off with an hat trick in the 5-2 victory over Southampton, and Kane is delighted to be mentioned in the same breath as the Barcelona forward and his Real Madrid arch-rival, Cristiano Ronaldo.
"I'm very proud," Kane told Sky Sports after the match. "Messi and Ronaldo have dominated football for so long and are two of the best players ever.

"To be compared to them, or just be up there with them is a great honour."

Kane's 56 goals came from just 52 appearances, at 1.06 per game, while Messi's 54 were scored from 64 outings (0.84).
The Spurs man heads an all-star leaderboard atop the scoring charts as Ronaldo, Robert Lewandowski and Edinson Cavani all finished 2017 with 53 goals to their name.
