See what 'angry' fans did to Thiery Henry in Nigeria

As the legend was landing Nigeria, fans were plotting how to make his visit unforgettable. The

plan was fructified as he was crowned in a royal treat. The "Igwe of football" is the tittle given

to Former Arsenal and France international striker Thierry Henry.

Though fans of Arsenal Football Club, have long affectionately referred to Henry as igwe (or king,

in a local Nigerian language), they did not pass by  the opportunity to make it official when he

visited Lagos, the economic hub of the giant West Africa nation.

Henry who is participating in a  consumer promotion by Guinness, watched the West Brom v
Manchester United EPL game at Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. Arsenal is

particularly loved by a large chunk of Nigerian fans after the exploit of ex-interational, Nwankwo

Kanu.
