Pep Guardiola and Manchester City will be  on alert mood to forestall any further attempt by other teams to diminish their title credential.

Leicester has made the first move though by adding enterprising playmaker Silva to their ranks.

If you can recall, Leicester City were denied this Danny Drinkwater replacement due to delay in paperwork arrival.

The papers for Adrian Silva 28, arrived 14 seconds after the close of the summer transfer window and FIFA rejected Leicester City's appeal to register the Portuguese.

However he is now eligible to play for Leicester with the opening of the January transfer window after four months on the sidelines.

He will hope to put these behind him as Leicester as well as the other 18 premier league clubs plot Man City's downfall. He starts on a bright note though as he made his debut in Leicester's 3-0victory over Huddersfield on New Year's day.

Guardiola's City will look to respond in positive manner when they take on Watford tomorrow.
