Church Accepts Crypto-Tithes

While many Crypto-antagonists like to say Cryptocurrencies are mainly for buying illicit drugs, contracting hit men(assassins), and laundering money, Bitcoin has proven to be used for a much more honorable purposes.

A church in Switzerland, Zurich has started accepting voluntary offerings from parishioners using digital currency. It stated that it would be receiving donations directly via Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Stellar Lumen.

“Digital currencies and the blockchain technology will change our daily lives more and more in the next years,” the Church's spokesman, Nicolas Legler said. He went further saying, “Cryptocurrencies will be implemented, be it Bitcoin or other currencies controlled by the State. We are convinced that this technology will soon belong to our daily lives. Twenty years ago, no one would have believed that internet would determine our lives so much,”

According to a news report, the Church is known for its use of new technology and that attracts many young ones to it, some of whom are using it as a means of financial transaction.

This is yet another example of how the young ones are changing the trend of things. And could it also be another indication that the cryptocurrency is here to stay?
