Jamb Sets to hold UTME Exams in March


THE 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, will take place between March 9 and 17, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has said.

According to JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the total number of candidates expected to write the exam is at minimum of 2 Million Nigerians. And so far only 10 percent of prospective candidates for this year’s UTME have purchased forms and registered for the examination. The total number that have registered was about 283,319.

He further added by warning candidates against using prohibited items during the examination, saying those who do would have themselves to blame... adding, “ candidates, examiners, invigilators will be allowed to enter the examination hall with wrist watches, pencils except HB pencils and cameras.”

Lastly according to him, JAMB mock exam will be conducted next month February.
