Real Madrid's Crisis: Ronaldo and Ramos lazy

  • Reason for Madrid's poor form revealed
  • Barca coach blames players

It is no longer news that Real Madrid and Coach Zidane are facing the hardest time in their recent rich history. Apart from the defending champions enduring an unusual fourth position in the league, they have also crashed out of the Copa del Ray to lowly Leganes.
This has led many Los Blancos faithfuls to call for the French manager amid a mooted move away from the Bernabeu for talisman Ronaldo. These are no doubt bad times for the capital club and you cant help but feel sorry for Zidane and his charges.

Commenting on the reason behind their nosedive, rival Barcelona manager Ernesto Velverde has named their work ethic. In his opinion, Sergio Ramos and teammates are not putting all hands on deck. He said:
"Real Madrid are a great rival, but if we are in the semi-final it is because we have worked hard to be here," Valvarde said.
"In these cup games you can't have a bad day, otherwise you will be out of the competition.
"I don't stop to think about the other teams though.
"I worry about mine and trying to move us forward in our competitions."
