Things you should know about the H&M racist ad despite their apology

H&M was forced to apologize Monday for using a black child to model a sweatshirt with a "coolest monkey in the jungle" slogan.

According to Anna Eriksson H&M spokeswoman, she said,
"This image has now been removed from all H&M channels and we apologize to anyone this may have offended,"
From the above, H&M only apologized for the ad , it doesn't stop them from selling the hoodie. Hence, don't be surprised if you still see someone walking down the street in this sweatshirt.

Another question should be, Who on earth came up with such idea or slogan? Coz from the slogan and the fact that a black boy was used to model it, shows that black people are still referred to or viewed by the white as 'Monkey'

According to CNN, the image was featured on the British version of the company’s online store. However, many users noticed that the little black boy was the only model to wear the “coolest monkey” sweatshirt, a white child wore a shirt that said “survival expert,” while another wore a sweatshirt with images of animals from the same line.
Just imagine.
