We are going to kill them - Guardiola

Joseph Guardiola was left devastated after the game against Watford in what he described as a "disaster". The Catalan spared no sentiment in his appraisal of the premier league fixture congestion which had seen several of his players on the treatment table.

On Walker who endured a possible crutch abrasion as the game entered it's final minutes, he said:
 "We are going to check [the injury] out, he might have a little problem," he told reporters when asked about Walker, who limped through the last few minutes at the Etihad Stadium with .

"Everyone saw in the last weeks how many injuries the players have. We are going to kill them [the players]. The bosses[at the federation] have to reflect a little bit. It's not normal to play the 31st and 2nd.
"We don't protect the players and everybody is here in the business for the players, not for anyone else. England don't protect the players.

Benjamin Mendy and Gabriel Jesus are on the sidelines for City while Kevin De Bruyne played on Tuesday despite limping off the field against Palace.
Guardiola needs to come up with quick fixes ahead of their FA Cup match with Burnley FC on Saturday.
