Muslims Win As WAEC Prepares New Timetable

The West African Examination Council's director of Public Affairs, Demianus Ojijeogu  has announced that the board has adjusted its timetable to accommodate the interests of muslims.

He said the papers which were to take place on Friday April 20, 2018 has been shifted to Tuesday April 10, 2018 at the same time as written on the Friday.

This is coming after sever criticism from Muslim groups around the country over the placement of exams on Friday which would clash with their time for worship, thereby denying students from praying.

WAEC’s director of public affairs, Demianus Ojijeogu, told the Tribune on Saturday, March 17, that the board had to adjust the timetable to accommodate the interests of Muslims.
