TRENDING: Bitcoin Classes For Students In Chicago

Finance, Business and Computer Science students in Illinois are clamouring for Bitcoin classes as they want to learn more about Bitcoin and the technology behind it, and their University professors are living up to the challenge.

  • In the recent past, discussions about Bitcoin and her counterparts were discussed as afterthoughts after lessons, but now it is an integral part of the finance studies.
  •  “My students are starting the class thinking about it now,” DePaul University assistant professor Lamont Black told the Chicago Tribune.
  • The Illinois Institute of Technology is set to offer its first class on blockchain this summer.
  • The students have seen some of their mates who invested in the currency become Millionaires over night and this has spurred interest in the currency.
  • An Associate Professor who lectures at NorthWestern University's school of management who gave a lecture about Bitcoin 5 years ago said it was hard to fill up the course and students were interested in traditional banking.
  • An assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering in the University of Illinois is gearing up to give lectures on smart contracts says interests are surging.
